The vintage West Kent 1871 rugby shirt is made with a heavyweight slub cotton which gives the shirt a hard wearing yet soft and comfortable retro style finish. This vintage ‘old school’ shirt combines heritage colour dyes with a distressed wash to produce a nicely worn-in look and feel. This classic West Kent 1871 rugby shirt is inspired by the founding members of the RFU.

Founder members of the Rugby Football Union.
Founded in 1867 by a small group of Old Rugbeians, that included Arthur Guillemard who also played Association football for the first winners of the FA Cup, Wanderers Football Club.
They played at Chislehurst Common and used the ‘Imperial Arms’ as their headquarters.
West Kent disbanded in 1886.
